Our annual reports share how Engage has been built and shaped by people working together.

This past year saw us launch groundbreaking tools to mobilize data about quality of life in Nova Scotia (the Wellbeing Analysis Tool and Wellbeing Mapping Tool), host two series of provincewide events and gatherings, and continue to build momentum for the quality of life movement in Canada.

‘Together again’ is the theme for our 2022-23 Annual Report because of the many ways we were able to gather and (re) connect — and how meaningful those experiences were to each of us and all of you. Together, we’re changing the approach to improving quality of life – for everyone.

Highlights included marking 10 years since we began, hosting The Meet-Up, launching our SDG program, and a new social connections project.

One focus was sharing survey results widely and equipping people to use them. We also carried out the note-writing initiative, From Me to You.

We undertook the first NS Quality of Life Survey and released results. With 13,000 respondents, it’s the largest dataset of its kind in Canada.

We released the NS Quality of Life Index and continued to engage communities through gatherings and clinics across the province.
